Andrew Fisher is a Divisional Director with responsibility for Haymarket’s Employee Screening Division. He has over 15 years experience in international fraud investigation, risk management and business consulting with specialist expertise in the field of pre-employment screening.
In 1991 Mr Fisher joined a leading international risk management and investigative consulting business where he was involved in investigations in a variety of industries including financial services, telecommunications, leisure and pharmaceuticals; and he worked in jurisdictions on every continent. As an Associate Director, his caseload included multi-million pound fraud investigations, due diligence, business intelligence and intellectual property infringement investigations.
In 1994 he established that company’s employee screening division, developing a client list of international blue chip companies in financial services, telecommunications and other industries. He worked closely with the SFA (predecessor organization to the Financial Services Authority) to develop regulatory screening programmes to meet “fit and proper” criteria, co-hosting conferences to the banking community.
In 1999, having moved to new pastures, he founded and built the employee screening and preventive security consulting business of another leading international investigative risk management group, creating a leading player in the marketplace which ranked three of the top five investments banks amongst its clients. He has extensive experience of working with client HR, Security and Legal and Compliance Departments to devise and structure employee screening programmes appropriate to their environment. He was responsible for developing the then market-leading bespoke software platform for delivering high quality, efficient employee screening services, capable of handling even the most complex of international cases in high volumes.
Mr Fisher is a regular conference speaker to professional audiences on employee screening and preventive security and has contributed articles and devised and led client training workshops on these subjects
